traditional craftsman Eguchi Tendo

Four hundred years have passed since the beauty of Arita porcelain attracted people from all over the world.

European royalty and aristocrats, as well as connoisseurs from various countries, competed to collect them as a symbol of their authority.

Arita porcelain is truly a treasure of Japan.

A culture that many unknown potters have created over their lifetimes through daily effort.

Every day, I am also working with the earth, the fire, and the brush to pass on this traditional beauty to the present and make further strides into the future.

Constant progress is a major theme for me as a painter. The skillful techniques and techniques of the Arita porcelain are a beautiful crystallization of the new challenges that have been taken on.The"ceramic canvas" that I am currently painting is a "new Arita Porcelain" that was created based on traditional techniques in the long history of ceramics and porcelain.I strongly hope that I will continue to devote myself to ceramic painting and that the tradition will continue into the future.
