PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Luxurious Masterpiece of Gold Decoration and Delicate Floral Patterns by Yasokichi Tokuda IV

Brilliant gold decoration shines beautifully against a deep black background, complemented by intricately painted flowers. This elegant Kutani ware demitasse cup and saucer, created by Yasokichi Tokuda IV, embodies the rich tradition and refined aesthetics of Japanese Kutani ware.

The surfaces of both the cup and saucer are densely decorated with exceptionally detailed floral motifs, creating a striking and luxurious appearance. Gold accents applied to the handle, foot, and other details further enhance the elegance of the piece, making every coffee or tea moment feel truly special.

As each piece is decorated by hand, slight variations in the painting, colors, and details may occur. These subtle differences are part of the unique character of handcrafted Kutani ware.

Caution for Use

◎ Decorative Plates, Vases, Ornaments
● These items use decorative paints with excellent color vibrancy for aesthetic purposes. Please refrain from using them as tableware.
● If a vase, especially one made of pottery (earthenware), leaks water, please contact the store where you purchased it.
● Ensure stable placement of decorative plates or ornaments, and take safety precautions when their stability is compromised.
● When storing, especially items decorated with gold or silver, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and store them carefully.
◎ Tableware
● Do not use these products in microwaves, ovens, or dishwashers.
● Thin teacups or bowls can become hot on the surface, so handle them with care. ● For pottery (earthenware), soaking it in hot water before use allows the material to absorb moisture, helping to prevent tea stains and other marks from forming.
● After use, wash as soon as possible. Do not use cleansers, nylon scrubbing pads, or dishwashers, as they may cause gold, silver, or painted patterns to peel or scratch. Wash with dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge or cloth, rinse well, and dry thoroughly before storing.
◎ Scratching Precaution
● The base (foot) of Kutani ware is not coated with glaze. When using it on softer or more easily scratched surfaces, such as alcoves, flower stands, shelves, or lacquered tables, please be sure to use a mat or cloth.
